David Roger Vankirk

David Roger Vankirk, 47 of Grafton Road, Morgantown passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 4, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio , the son of Jean Comp Vankirk Burner of Morgantown and the late Robert A. Vankirk. David was a 25 year employee at Ruby Memorial and a Baptist by faith. In addition to his mother Jean and step father Allen, he is survived by his daughter Arielle Marie Vankirk of Masontown, WV, a sister Tammy Dalton and husband Ron of Morgantown, 3 brothers Robert L. Vankirk Jr. of Morgantown, Paul Richardson of Charleston ,WV and Carl Richardson of Hickory ,SC. Also surviving is a special friend Reba Mccaffrey of Conway, SC and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 1 to 3pm and 6-9pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Kingwood, WV. In honoring David's wishes, the casket will be closed during the visitation and funeral service.
