David Scott Jeffers of Cassville was called to rest on Saturday November 24, 2012, working on the family farm, doing what he loved. Dave was born on May 7, 1954 to the late Roy Scott Jeffers and Mary Elouise Mayhew. Dave was born with working hands, a love to ride his horses and Harley Davidsons, a passion for farming and a great desire to connect with his two daughters Maggie Mae and Mary Catherine and his son Roy Scott. David has been hard at work all of his life. He was a heavy equipment operator and most recently worked for Kanawha Stone. He's worked countless hours on the road but was sure to visit and relax with friends and the love of his life Karen Korzun upon his return home. In addition to his three children he is survived by his three sisters, Joyce and husband Foster E. Pratt, Deborah and ex-husband Andrew Hernandez and Mary Beth and husband Edward E. Jester; four grandchildren and enough nieces and nephews to bring out his famous chuckle. Friends and family are welcome to gather Wednesday evening at the Cassville Fire Hall from 5 to 8pm to celebrate the life of a loving boyfriend, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. To honor Dave's wishes, cremation services were arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A quiet memorial service will be held at a later date.
