Darwin Wilburn

Darwin Reed Wilburn, 77, of Morgantown, passed away, Monday, August 1, 2022 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.  He was born November 11, 1944 in Ohiopyle, PA, a son of the late Reed and Mary Elizabeth Wilburn.

He worked for WVU Printing for many years and then for Senior Monongalians, delivering meals.  In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and was very proud of his tomatoes, and cheering on the WVU Mountaineers.

He is survived by his daughter Amber Wilburn; brother William Wilburn (Ginger Barrett); sisters Pat Gidley, Shirley Trompack (John), Janet Keenan; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Wilburn; brothers Robert Wilburn, James Wilburn; and a sister Bonnie Burrakis.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 1pm.  Following the service, he will be laid to rest with his wife Yvonne.
