Darrel Lee Lefevers, Jr., 58, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 04, 1962, in Morgantown, son to Darrel Lee Lefevers, Sr., of Morgantown and the late Donna Pauline Duley Lefevers.
Darrel retired from Eat N Park after 22 years of service. Darrel was a Boy Scout, loved hunting and fishing, and adored his dog, Chiquita.
He worked as a taxidermist and was an excellent mechanic. Darrel was also an accomplished XBOX gamer and enjoyed playing golf. Darrel was a loyal and dedicated employee and friend.
He had the most incredible sense of humor and an ornery side. He liked kidding and joking with those closest to him. He genuinely appreciated his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Darrel is survived by his siblings, Barbara Harris (Gerald), Rebecca Downey (James, II) and Donald Lefevers (Edna), all of Morgantown; former wife, Aneida Lefevers; stepchildren, Jennifer Williams (Eric Simmons), Robert Stevens (Missy McCormick), Kelly Stevens (Jeffrey Cole); step-grandchildren, Shane Stevens, Sierra Bianco, Raymond Miller, Jr., Angel Sites, Kiera Sites, Blake Williams, Ethan Stevens, Robert Stevens, Jr., Mackenzie McCormick, Jordan McCormick, Taylor McCormick, Bailee Clendenin, Alexis Goodwin, Christopher Goodwin, Jr. Donovan Goodwin, Travon Stevens, and Raeanna Cole.
Also, surviving are Darrel’s nieces and nephews, Jennifer Barnett (Russell), David Dalton, Jr. (Regina), April Wolfe (Brian), James Downey, III (Shannon), Christopher Downey (Stacy Wilfong); great-nieces and nephews, Casey, Keirsten, Colby and Kara Barnett, Shyann and Emily Dalton, Katelynne, David H. and Kelsey Hamilton, Kalen and Mazee Dalton, Brian Wolfe, Jr., Madalynn Wolfe, Kenyon, and Channing Downey, Travis Peters, Ethan, Emmylou Downey, and Cody Liddle; two great-great nephews, Alijah Clay and Hunter Dalton.
In addition, his mother, Darrel, was preceded in death by his twin infant sisters, Brenda Kay and Donna Ray Lefevers, and one great-niece Kaylssa Barnett.
The family will celebrate Darrel’s life during a private service with Pastor Karen Glover officiating.
