Darlene 'Bean' Taylor

Darlene ‘Bean’ Taylor, 86, of Westover, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at her home. She was born in Masontown, WV on September 25, 1931, a daughter to James and Valetta Ball. Darlene retired from WVU as an administrative assistant with 34 years of service. She also was active in the political scene and would always be found working the election polls.

Darlene had the greatest sense of humor and could be a bit ornery at times. Her quick wit and kind heart will be missed by so many. She had many hobbies including, puzzle books and word searches. She cherished time spent with her great grandchildren and their friends.

Darlene is survived by her granddaughter, Misty Taylor and husband Jordon Johnson, Sr.; great grandchildren, Darian Lipscomb, Rico Coleman, Atavia Bradley Diamond Johnson and twins Jaedon and Jordon Johnson, Jr; two great-great grandchildren Nevaehlyn and Braelyn Lipscomb, all of Morgantown; also surviving is her brother Douglas Ball of Macon, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Taylor and daughter, Lisa Taylor.

No visitation will be scheduled.

A memorial service will be announced at the convenience of the family.
