Daniel S. Tessin

Daniel S. Tessin, 19 of Morgantown passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born August 27, 1992 in Phoenix, AZ son of Steve and Delray Tessin of Morgantown, WV. He was the owner of Dan's Lawn Maintenance. He prayed and asked Jesus into his heart as a small child and loved the Lord. He loved country music but most of all his family. Daniel was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He was active with the youth of Chestnut Ridge Church and a student at Trinity Christian School and graduate of Morgantown High School. In addition to his parents Steve and Delray, he is survived by his brothers, Dave Geertz and wife Jennifer, Paul Geertz and wife Regina, Timothy Geertz and wife Melissa and his sister Ruth Geertz. Also surviving are his nephews Luke and Tyler. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday November 27 from 3pm until 7pm and again on Monday from 12 noon until time of services at 1pm. Burial will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery. Donations can be made in memory of Daniel to the Trinity Christian School, 200 Trinity Way Morgantown, WV 26505.
