Daniel Allen Lynch

Daniel Allen Lynch, age 67, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Born on April 4, 1956, in Morgantown, WV. Daniel was a man who lived life on his own terms, always with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Landis E. Lynch, Sr. and sisters, Donna Lynch and Tami Johns.

Daniel is survived by his ever-loving mother, Christine Lynch; daughter, Amy Richard; sisters, Ruth (Doug) Harless, Brenda (Butch) Wheeler, and Vicki Lynch; brothers, Butch (Sharon) Lynch, Landis (Donna) Lynch, Jr.; grandchildren, Bryanna Stockett and Darian Hunt.

His love for music was only matched by his love for animals. From his precious "Fat Cat" to the deer in the yard, he had a special bond with all creatures great and small. He was a man who cherished his beloved mother and made sure everyone knew it. He was a jokester who could lighten any mood. He was a man who lived his life like a song - with passion, joy, and a rhythm all his own. He was a kind, funny, and friendly man who was loved by everyone and will be missed by all who knew him.

Honoring Daniel’s wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate Daniel’s life will be held at a later date.
