Dalton Franklin Sheets

Dalton ‘Donnie’ Sheets, 66 of Fairmont went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on Friday September 2, 2022 at Mon Health Medical Center with his family by his side.

Donnie enjoyed spending time with his family and sitting on the porch with his best fur friend Francis watching the grandkids playing on his fresh cut grass. He enjoyed trips to town for his walks and chatting on the porch with passing by neighbors. Don was a retired baker from Ray’s Pastries, and groundskeeper at The Pines Country Club.

Dalton is survived by the love of his life of 44 years Rebecca Johnson; daughters Kimberley Deuesenberry and husband Collyn, and Khristina Garth; brothers Elwood and James; grandchildren Jasmin, Zack, Marie, and Ursula; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Genevieve, Jagger, and baby boy coming in January; sisters-in-law, Rosemarie and Renate, and several nieces and nephews.

Dalton was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Daisy Sheets, and Raymond and Ursula Lambert.

Family and friends will gather in remembrance and celebration of his life at Goshen Baptist Church, Goshen Road Morgantown on Thursday September 15, 2022, at 6 PM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
