Cora Sue Stevens

Cora (Sue) Stevens, 78, of Morgantown WV, passed away January 11, 2021. She was born in Morgantown to the late Frank and Hazel Pitman.
Sue was the head cook at National elementary for several years until she retired. After she retired, she loved to cook for everyone in the community and her family. She touched many people in her life and had the biggest heart. She was an avid Mountaineers and Steelers fan. She loved animals and in her free time would watch the news and game shows. She would also go on road trips with her family and would love to go get lottery tickets and scratch offs.
Sue is survived her three children, Robert Allen Stevens, Donna Stevens, and Diana Griffith and husband Charles Griffith; three grandchildren, Zachary Stevens, Michael Welter, Nicole Welter; friends that she considered family; James, Stephanie, and Red; one sister, Linda Hussing; and sister-in-law, Tressa Stevens; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Stevens; three brothers, Charles (Mac) Pitman, Sammy Pitman, Bill Pitman; two sisters Mary Lou Jacobs and Thelma.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 10 AM until 12PM. Cremation will follow. All visitors and guests will be asked to properly wear a face covering, socially distance, and limit their time to no more than 15 minutes.
