Clarence Mcmillen

October 18, 1927 — November 21, 2015

Clarence Dale (Joe) McMillen, 88, of Morgantown, WV died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones November 21, 2015. He was the son of the late Glen and Della McMillen.

He is survived by daughters; Wilma Santana of La Habra, California, Brenda Kessler and spouse Randy, Lisa Lohmann and spouse Andrew, son Phillip and spouse Kathy all of Morgantown. Joe is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition is survived by a special friend and caregiver, Fannie Davis.

A sincere note of thanks to Fannie and her son Don from all of the family for the special care and friendship over the past nine years.

Joe proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during the time of WWII. He retired in 1989 after working many years for Hartley Home Builders in Morgantown. Joe was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God church.

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, father-in-law, neighbor, and friend. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Helen Doloris (Summers) McMillen, 5 brothers, a sister, a son-in-law and several other in-laws that were dear to him.

Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family sends a huge thanks to the Morgantown Hospice and all the wonderful professionals who made him comfortable in his final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the Morgantown Hospice, 1063 Maple Street, Morgantown, WV 26505.
