Charles E. Morris

Charles Everett Morris, 75, affectionately known as ‘Chuck’ passed away at his home on Sunday, September 8, 2024, in Morgantown. He was born July 30, 1949, in Morgantown and the second son of the late Charles Henry and Gladys Wilma (Rowan) Morris. In his younger years, Chuck worked at Davis & Lynch and Beaumont Glass Factories in Morgantown; and he spent his leisure time fishing, hunting, and working on cars. He lived with his mother and helped her until her death in 2016.

He is survived by two brothers, Reverend Raymond R. Morris (Frances) of Morgantown and Eugene A. Morris (David Billings) of Toledo, OH; two sisters Sharon L. Jeffrey (Dwight) of Morgantown and Nancy L. Beckner (Randy) of Kingwood, WV; one son Charles E. Antill (Bobbi) of Greensboro,PA and one daughter Rachael Antill of Waynesburg, PA; and five grandchildren Kaylee Antill, Abigail Antill-Cacurak, Trenton Antill, Danielle McMillen, and Hanna McMillen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas A. Morris.

At the request of the immediate family a private service will be held, and Chuck will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery.
