Cathy Lynn Brown

Cathy Lynn Keener Brown, 52 of Rt. 100, Morgantown died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born June 30, 1966 daughter to Harold and Charlotte Hinkle Keener.

Cathy loved gardening, landscaping and tending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed camping with friends and family.

Cathy is survived by her husband, James Brown, stepson, Garrett Brown, Jr. and wife Christina of Greensboro, PA; stepdaughters, Veronica Eddy of Greensboro, PA, Angela Boggs and husband Lenard of Marion, IA and Tammy Brown of Davistown, PA and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Rick Keener, James ‘Moke’ Keener and Joe Keener all of Cassville; one sister Donna Marks and husband Cliff of Dilliner, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Charlotte and one brother Richard Keener.

Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday Sept. 21, 2018 from 4-8pm and again on Saturday from noon until time of service at 1pm with Pastor Willard Rowan officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery.
