Catherine Ellen Kate' Wilson, 69, of Morgantown passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Mapleshire Nursing Home. She was born May 15, 1943 in George Township, PA, a daughter to the late Russell and May Darnell Wilson. Kate worked at Peerless Laundry for 28 years. She loved animals, gardening, and flowers. Everybody that knew Kate loved her. She was a mother to all, and her family always came first. She is survived by two sisters Marie Bishop and husband Ronnie of Bruceton Mills, Pat Rosiak and husband Frank of Cheat Lake; a brother Russell Wilson and wife Gail of Morgantown; special cousin Earl Darnell; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. In addition to her parents Kate was preceded in death by four brothers Jacob Russell Wilson, James Thomas Wilson, Samuel William Wilson, Robert John Wilson; and a niece Rhonda Bishop. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday December 31, 2012 from 3pm until the time of funeral services at 6pm with Rev. Wanda Brosky officiating. To honor Kate's wishes cremation will follow.
