Carolyn Mccrobie Roby

Carolyn McCrobie Roby, 86, of Morgantown, WV, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends. The daughter of the late Edward C. McCrobie and Betty McCrobie, she was born June 3, 1929, in Chaplin, WV. Carolyn was a member of Calvary Apostolic in Uniontown, PA. She was employed by Hecks in Westover for several years. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Roby Flowers and her husband, Ralph of Morgantown; a son, H. Gene Roby, Jr. and wife, Margie of Bruceton Mills; four grandchildren: Jason Roby, Scott Roby, Melodie Reese, and Jennifer Dalton; nine great grandchildren: Brianna Dalton, Aiden Roby, Mykell Reese, Gentry Reese, Garet Reese, Micah Reese, Nathan Roby, Lily Roby, and Emma Roby; and a sister, Dorothy McCrobie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Gene Roby, Sr., and a sister Martha White. Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. and again Thursday, March 10, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service with Rev. Daniel B. Bayles, officating.
