Caroline Abrahams-Johnson (Caroline Rose Munn), 50, of Barrackville, WV passed away on January 20, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown, WV.
She was born in Queen Charlotte City, British Columbia, Canada on June 3, 1967, daughter of the late Barbara Rosaline Nix and the late Moise (Morris) Simon Auger. She is survived by her spouse Tom Johnson and children Kayla (Kaiser) and Amber (Altair) Munn and her brother Rick Abrahams, and her nieces to whom she loved deeply.
When her mom got sick, she was raised by her grandparents, Leila and Methias Abrahams. She always talked in great fondness of her childhood. Talked about how she was always surrounded by family and friends, and how much pride she felt being Haida. Her culture was very much a part of who she was and how she always gave back to the world around her. Talked about how her grandmother would make a big meal, and that people were always coming and going from their house and the huge feeling of family she felt growing up. She told me how her grandfather had never rode a bike till Caroline and Rick went to live with them. Always said that it showed that you were never too old to try new things.
Caroline went to school in Vancouver, Canada to become a Healthcare Nurse Attendant because she wanted to help others. She went on to do many different jobs in her life. The last job she had which she loved was being a cashier at Food Lion, a local grocery store. She loved being around people. She lit up any room she would walk into. If she saw someone sad, she would be the first one to give them a hug and cheer them up. She was adventurous and loved to travel. Her laugh was contagious and she loved to laugh.
