Carol Jean Pinkney

Carol Jean Pinkney, 86, of Morgantown passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at the Sundale Nursing Home. She was born March 17, 1928 the daughter of the late Henry Shadaline and Delphia Bright Shadaline. Carol worked as a custodian for Mon General Hospital for nearly 25 years. She was Baptist by faith. She is survived by two sons; Robert Pinkney of Morgantown, Darwin Pinkney of Weston; daughter Brenda Ruschenberg of China and grandchildren, Amanda Pinkney Pase, Andrew Pinkney, Benjamin Pinkney, Bethany Ranno, Jeanette Medrow and Ryan Pinkney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Duane Pinkney; infant son, David Pinkney; one daughter Linda Rose Pinkney; one brother George Johnson and one sister Viola Bullock. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Saturday October 4, 2014 from 11am until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Treg Spicer officiating. Honoring Carol's wishes cremation will follow and interment of her ashes will be held at the convenience of the family at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
