Carol Murray

Carol Murray, 62 of Sabraton Ave., Morgantown passed away Friday May 4, 2012 at the Monongalia General Hospital. She was born November 22, 1949 in Uffington, WV the daughter of the late Orren and Ruth Summers Hardman. Carol worked 44 years for West Virginia University Hospital in various departments. She started her long career in the ER in 1968 and then transitioned to the morgue, anesthesiology, pain clinic and then same day surgery. She finished her career in the pre-admissions and testing department. Carol is survived by her daughter, Michelle Higgs,; sons, Sam Murray, Chris Murray and Tanis Higgs all of Morgantown; sisters, Diane Sepulveda and husband Tony of Anchorage, Alaska, Barbara Hardman of Morgantown, Anna Izzett and husband Jim of Cumberland, MD, Faith Kennedy and Kelly Hardman both of Morgantown. Also surviving are her grandchildren Gavin, Carter, Trevor and Jasmin Murray. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Mark Hardman. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday May 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday at the Fred L. Jenkins Chapel of Prayer with Pastor Scott Whetzel officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
