Carol Ann Davis

Carol Ann Roegge Davis, February 15, 1944 - September 3, 2011 of Morgantown, West Virginia, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Ruby Memorial Hospital as a result of a stroke. Born in Logan, Ohio, she was a graduate of Logan High School and a member of the National Honor Society. Carol attended Ohio State University on an academic scholarship. She lived life to its fullest. Carol loved music, her dog Max, and her family. She was a talented gardener and cook. She is survived by three sisters, Bonnie (BJ) Roegge Riddlebarger Merket, Joanie Blair Libonati and Dora Lee Blair Brown, as well as two brothers, Don Roegge and Jim Roegge. Carol is also survived by her mother, Grace Roegge of Millersburg, Ohio; her husband, Chuck Davis of Morgantown; daughter Gwendolyn Davis of Morgantown; daughter Nicole Davis Olexa and her husband Raymond of Jamestown, Colorado; daughter Jeanne Davis Severino and her husband Michael of Blacksburg, South Carolina; and grandchildren Grace and Rae Evelyn Olexa and Micah Severino. Carol was preceded in death by sister Della Rose Marie (Jarrie) Roegge Riddlebarger Finck. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday September 9, 2011 from 1-3pm & 7-9pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am with Rev. Dr. Gary Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Grafton Rd. Morgantown, WV. The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
