Carl 'Pete' W. Norberg, Jr.

Carl W. "Pete" Norberg, Jr., 89, of Morgantown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday March 26, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 16, 1926 in Masontown, WV a son of the late Carl and Wilbia Lambert Norberg. Pete honorably served his country during World War II as a member of the U.S. Navy. He worked many years as a painter for Benson Brothers. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was a member of the IOOF Morgantown Lodge #10. He will be greatly missed by his wife Lois Norberg; son Carl Norberg III; daughters Melanie Jimmie and husband Wayne, Beth Wadesworth, Jennifer Norberg-Bowers and husband Joseph, Amy Stevens all of Morgantown; brother Ronald Norberg of Cameron, WV; sister Marie Cramer of Kingwood, WV, and seven grandchildren. Honoring Pete's wishes cremation services have been arranged by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
