Carl Wayne Patrick passed away peacefully on July 15, 2023, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Born on September 13, 1958, in Birchton, WV, to Geraldine Patrick, Carl's life was marked by his friendly demeanor, kind heart, and courageous spirit.

Carl was a simple man, who found joy in the small things in life. The kindness he extended to others was a testament to his character, a shining example of the golden rule, "Treat others as you would have them treat you,"

Though he faced many challenges in his life, Carl never lost his courage. He met every adversity with bravery and strength, inspiring those around him with his resilient spirit. His courage was not loud or boastful, but quiet and steadfast, a beacon of hope in the darkest of times.

Carl's loving mother, Geraldine Patrick, predeceased him, leaving him the sole member of his immediate family. He found companionship in his loyal dog, Tabby. Their relationship was a testament to Carl's kindness and the love he had to give. The bond between Carl and Tabby was one of mutual respect and deep affection, a true friendship that lasted until the end.

Carl made people feel seen, cared for, and valued. His memory will be cherished and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Carl Wayne Patrick will be deeply missed, but his impact on those around him will never be forgotten.

Friends and family will gather at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 2 PM until 4 PM. A private interment will be held on Friday, July 21.
