Carl Barker

Carl Dwayne Barker, 74, of Morgantown, passed away on Thursday July 18, 2019 at his home. He was born in Bakersville, CA on March 19, 1945 a son of the late William Ervin Barker and Lorene Bonnie May Thomas Barker. Carl worked a various places throughout is his life. He was employed at Bobbio's Pizza in Oregon, and worked in the upholstery business and sawmill industry for many years in California. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing shuffleboard and pool, and watching Westerns on TV. Carl is survived by a daughter Nancy Williams; son Bryan Barker and companion Annette Weaver; three brothers Jerry, James, Orvel Barker; one sister Brenda; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his longtime partner of more than 30 years Corita Ramirez; son Dwayne Barker; sisters Joyce Barker, Claudiene Lancaster, and Linda Barker. Honoring Carl's wishes there will be no public services and cremation is being arranged by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
