Calvin David Plum

Calvin David Plum, 59, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Mon Health Medical Center. He was born June 26, 1963 in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Calvin and Betty Doman Plum.

David attended both Mountain View Pentecostal Church and Harvest Family Worship Center. He was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 379. In his free time he enjoyed spending time outdoors by hunting, fishing, camping, and riding his UTV. He also liked making and eating his own deer jerky. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, and traveling to the beach at Fenwick Island, DE with his family and Chris Monahan.

He is survived by his beloved wife Beverly Plum; sons David Plum and wife Brooke, Josh Plum and wife Judy; daughter Kayley Hickman and husband Chris; grandchildren Gage Jekel, Danika Plum, Preston Plum, Jaxson Plum and Bugga Boo Plum; brother Dennis Plum and wife Althea; sisters Rhonda Calhoun and Donna; and nephews Ben Plum and wife Sam, and Brian Plum and wife Cassie.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a son Zane Plum; brother Ralph Plum; and a sister Sandy Plum.

The family will receive friends at Harvest Family Worship Center 800 Greenbag Road Morgantown, WV 26501 on Friday December 16, 2022 from 5pm-8pm and again on Saturday from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 10am with Pastors Kevin and Dani Summers, Donna Dalton, and Norma Stimmell officiating. David will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
