Bryan Bircher Mcelroy

Bryan Bircher McElroy, The angels came to carry Bryan to the glory land on Thursday, February 1, 2018. The son of the late Howard and Esther McElroy, he was born December 29, 1945 in Morgantown, WV. Bryan was a veteran of the United States army. Bryan was the father of two sons, Chris McElroy and Scott McElroy. In addition to his sons, he is survived by a brother and his wife, Bud and Bonnie McElroy; four sisters and their husbands: Nancy and Charles Stafford, Doris and Rick Gruninger, Myra and Jimmy Popernack, and Bobbie and Charles Leach; several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews; longtime companion, Suzie; and good friends, Punk and Shirley. In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Ileen Gapen. Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 11am until the 12 noon funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating.
