Brian D. Ridenour,

50, of Morgantown, passed away, Saturday, March 19, 2016, at home, with family by his side.

The son of Shirley Ridenour of Morgantown and the late Thurman R. Ridenour, he was born March 7, 1966, at Alexandria, VA.

Brian was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed building and flying model planes, helicopters and drones. He was a member of Fairmont Flyers, AMA Charter Club #4142. Brian was most passionate about helping and serving people in any way he could.

Brian is survived by his mother, Shirley Ridenour; his son, Derrick Pounds of Morgantown; a sister and her husband, Jacquie and Michael Sirockman of Winfield, WV; a niece, Jennifer Sirockman of Morgantown; a nephew, Jamie Sirockman of Charlotte, NC; a uncle, Glenn D. Gamble of Morgantown, an aunt and her husband, Pat and Wilson Ward of Charleston, WV; a cousin, Jason Collet of Charleston, WV; dear friend and loving companion, Cricket Galusky; and many other loving family members.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Thurman R. Ridenour.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Thursday, March 24, 2016, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. with Chaplain Kathleen Kennedy officiating.
