Brian Christopher Hipp

June 13, 1979 — May 29, 2011

Brian Christopher Hipp, 31 of Morgantown, passed away Sunday May 29, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born June 13, 1979 in Oakland, MD son of Steve Allen Hipp and Judy Ann Hinkle Pyles. Brian was a graduate of University High School and MTEC. Brian was employed by Cintas for nearly four years and most recently worked for WVU in the maintenance department before becoming disabled due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in 2005. Brian was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp and ride his four-wheeler. Even after becoming confined to a wheel chair his fiancée made it possible for him to enjoy the great outdoors. He was a proud member of the North American Hunting Club and was Christian by faith. Brian was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Brian is survived by his father Steve Hipp and wife Donna of Beatrice, NE and mother Judy Pyles and husband Troy of Morgantown, fiancée Sara Hipp; two children, Brian James Hipp and Skyler Dawn Hipp both of home; brother Timothy Allen Hipp and wife Lisa of Blacksville; two sisters Candie Kelley and husband Chad of Ft. Wayne, IN and Shelly Burns and fiancée Jay of Independence; his mother and father-in-law Blanche and Frank Field of Morgantown; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends and his canine companion Sassy. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James L. and Martha Hinkle; paternal grandparents Howard R. and Alice Genevieve Hipp and Uncle Gary Lee Hinkle. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Wednesday June 1, 2011 from 3-5 and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday June 2, with Dr. Jeff Riffle officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Jesus our Savior; Brian's parents and family; Sara's family; Dr. Russell Biundo; Family Medicine and Staff; close friends, Chris and Tina Spitznogle and Gary Swaney and the staff of Ruby Memorial Hospital for the compassionate care given to Brian and the family during this most difficult time.
