Brenda Jane Carraway

Brenda Carraway, born Brenda Jane Mullins, of Morgantown, began her next great adventure passing from this adventure on the morning of November 17th, 2016 at J.W. Ruby Hospital with family by her side. Brenda was born on December 11th 1970 to Bill and Peggy Mullins of Morgantown.

She is joining two children Meaghan Elizabeth Townsend and Ryan Patrick Townsend and is survived by loving family, her living children Robert Michael Jeanne Townsend, Zachary Ryan Carraway and Samanatha Nicole Carraway and her husband Sean Phillip Carraway. Her parents, older sisters Bonnie Joe Mullins Dwire and Beth Jan Mullins Hicks and her younger sister and her husband, Barbara Jeanne Mullins Bellotte and Michael Cody Bellotte.

Brenda attended Morgantown High School, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Veterinary School.

Brenda is a world traveler having traveled from the Far East to Europe and throughout the United States.

She was involved in many charitable movements and was instrumental in providing to the homeless in southern Nevada and northern Arizona areas.

One of Brenda’s most prominent characteristics was her straightforwardness and her ability to see things as they are and you could always count on her to tell you like it is.

She has been a family oriented person all of her life, always helping all family members to achieve their goals and instilled moral character.

She loved working in the yard planting flowers because she loved the beauty of the flowers.

Friends and Family will be received at the Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016 from 5pm until 7pm and again on Monday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Bishop Travis White officiating.

Contributions may be made to the Morgantown Sober House, 206 Spruce Street Morgantown, WV 26505 in lieu of flowers.
