Brandy Lynn Devall

July 29, 1973 — June 1, 2018

Brandy Lynn DeVall, 44, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 at Mon Health Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born July 29, 1973 in Morgantown, a daughter of Kenneth and Cynthia Hanlin.

Brandy was known as a hard worker. She was co-owner, along with her husband, of Ron DeVall Trucking, R&B Recycling, R&B Preowned, and R&B Rebuildables. She was always willing to lend a hand, and was never afraid to get her hands dirty to get the job done. She loved the outdoors, especially spending time walking the boardwalk, watching the sunrise, and walking on the beach in Ocean City, MD. However, she treasured spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years Ronald DeVall, Jr.; daughter Amanda McCartney and husband Gage; son Billy Crowder, Jr.; step-son Jacob DeVall and girlfriend Morgan Rhodes; grandson Devon Hanlin; sisters Melissa Nicholson and husband Michael, Misty Watson and companion Brandon Baily, brother Lonnie Hanlin; father and mother-in-law Ronald and Louise DeVall; and sister-in-law Crystal Frisco and husband John Frisco.

Brandy is also survived by her nieces Megan Hanlin and companion Gavin Brock, Maranda Hanlin and companion Johnny McMullen, Shylar Hanlin, Caylie Hanlin, Savannah Baily, Susie Schooley, Johna Frisco, Arianna Frisco; a nephew Michael Watson; and her special friendly duck ‘Goofy’

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday June 8, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 11am until the time of funeral services at 12pm with Pastor Janice Smith and Lay Leader Dee Jay Utt officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mon Health Medical Center 5 South for all of their care and compassion over the past several months.
