Brandon Everett Armstrong passed away in October at his home in Lakewood, Ohio. He was born August 25, 1978 in Elkins, WV and later moved with his family to Morgantown, WV where he attended University High School.
Brandon had numerous interests including a love of music of all kinds, especially old-school hip-hop and punk rock. This interest led him to attend and receive a degree from the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH after completing high school.
He was a huge fan of the WVU Mountaineers, no matter the sport, and regularly attended football games when he lived in Morgantown. Brandon enjoyed spending time outdoors riding his bike as well as going to the beach and spending time with friends at Deep Creek Lake. He was also an animal lover who raised two shelter dogs.
As a staple in the Morgantown restaurant scene, he was known to be a great cook and hard worker. His friends also spoke of his craftsmanship, and when he worked in construction they dubbed him "Builder Brandon."
Brandon was a kind soul who was loved by all who knew him and will be missed greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents Sgt. Edward Armstrong and Mrs. Betty Armstrong.
The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday October 24, 2018 at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to the charity of the individual's choice.
