Bonnie Lee Reynolds, 79, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 22, 2016 at home with her fiancé Evans Sturms by her side. She was born on December 1, 1936 in Marshall County, WV the daughter of the late Wilford and Alice Morehouse Wallace.
Bonnie spent the majority of her adult life as a loving stay at home military mother raising five children, often times on her own while her husband was gone serving our country. She later became employed by CONSOL as an underground coal miner for twelve years until she retired from working. She was a life time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as well as a member of the Senior Monongalians Senior Center where she was a volunteer and more recently on the advisory board. She loved all of her friends there and rarely missed a day at the Center.
She is survived by her loving fiancée Evans Sturms; four sons and a daughter Rayford W. Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Annemie, Dareld J. Reynolds and wife Rae Lynn, Sherri Reynolds-Dezzutti and husband Chris, Kenneth W. Reynolds and wife Ronda, Terry L. Reynolds and wife Maria Lilana; sister Madalyn E. McDonald; seven grandchildren Brandi Ayersman and husband Mike, Erik Reynolds and Bailee Lisa Marie, Ronald Reynolds and fiancé Tina McKahan, Samantha Reynolds, Dareld J. Reynolds, Jr., Ashley Lucia Reynolds and Nicole Kestler; five great grandchildren Frank Dale Andrews III, Logan William Reynolds, Amelia Joan Ayersman, Alexis Jayden Marie Fisher, Savanna Kestler; and a very special niece Michelle McDonald and great niece Madalyn McDonald along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Anna Juanita ‘Peggy’ Schlieper; brothers Jackson R. Wallace, Robert E. Wallace, Preston L. Wallace; her ex-husband Rayford William Reynolds and longtime companion David Peter Weber.
Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday May 25, 2016 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Honoring Bonnie’s wishes cremation will follow.
