Bobby Joe Wolfe

Bobby Joe ‘BJ’ Wolfe, 83, of Pounds Hollow Rd., passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Morgantown on September 10, 1934, son to the late Duard A. and Effie Cunningham Wolfe.

Bob Wolfe also known to many as The Bee Man, was well known to gather with a group of guys at the Sabraton McDonalds to solve all the world’s problems over a ‘free’ cup of coffee. He could also be found at the bottom of Easton Hill with his trunk open and several jars of honey for sale.

Bob worked at Sterling Faucet in various positions and retired after 42 years. He also worked for 11 years at the Wesley United Methodist Church. Bob graduated from University High School and was then drafted by the US Army.

He is survived by his son Keith Wolfe; sisters-in-law, Wanda Wolfe and Evelyn Clemmer; brother-in-law John Smith, and will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Wolfe; two brothers; one sister and his mother and father in law, whom he dearly loved, John and Pauline Smith.

Family will receive friends at the Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday from 3pm to 7pm and again on Saturday from noon until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Garrett Howard officiating. Bob will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
