Betty Jane Sypolt

Betty Jane Sypolt, 95, of Morgantown passed peacefully on Wednesday December 21, 2022 at Stonerise Morgantown. She was born in Terra Alta, WV the daughter of Delmar and Beatrice Spiker Hughes.

Betty took great pride in caring for her family and keeping a home.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dana C. Sypolt in 1975; one son Rex Allen Sypolt, and three sisters, Alice Cole, Joretta Messenger and Ruth France.

She is survived by her son Dana L. Sypolt and wife Elizabeth; daughter Gwendolyn Kay; grandchildren, Lori and Phillip, Richard and Christopher and three great grandchildren Amanda, Allison and Ashley. Also surviving is her sister Barbara Bowser of Morgantown.

The family will receive friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4 until 6 PM. Betty will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Terra Alta Cemetery.
