Betty Ellen Shaffer

Betty Ellen Shaffer, 81, of Morgantown, went to be with her Lord, on Friday, November 8, 2019 at her home. The daughter of the late Hershel and Jessie Johnson, she was born October 14, 1938 in Preston County. Betty is survived by her daughters, Brenda King and her husband, Brent, and Debra Bolden and her companion, Brian Bear; three grandchildren: Ashley Bolden, Jessica King, and Austin Strosnider; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Donald Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her husband, Robert Shaffer; a grandson; two brothers; and two sisters. The family would to extend a special thank you to Companion Care, Amedisys Hospice, and a special caregiver, Autumn Jordan.
