Betty Katherine Hanan

Betty Kay Hanan, 59 of Masontown, PA passed away Sunday January 24, 2010 at Uniontown Hospital. She was born December 12, 1950 in Grays Landing, PA a daughter to the late Samuel and Sara Cassidy Hanan. She is survived by her loving companion of 36 years Charles Sprouse, Sr.; four children Robert Hanon of Smithfield, PA, Donald Eugene Hanon formerly of Uniontown, PA, Tammy Lynn Hanon of Greensboro, MD, and Terry Lee Hanon of Smithfield, PA; two sisters Annabel Umbel of Uniontown, PA and Lucinda Osborne of Carmichaels, PA; and one brother Robert Hanon formerly of Masontown, PA. Betty is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her brothers John Harry Hanan, Franklin Hanan, Frederick Hanan, Silent ‘Duck’ Hanan, and Clark Lewis Hanan; and a sister Dorothy Maskerine. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home in Morgantown, WV Tuesday January 26, 2010 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am with Pastor Dam Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Masontown, WV.
