Beth Ann Harvey (Leonard) entered this earthly realm on May 8, 1977, in Clarksburg, WV, a cherished gift from above. Love was bestowed upon her by her parents, Robert Leonard and Genetta (Hamric) Leonard, and she was given guidance by her godfather, James Steiding, and godmother, Ann Steiding. Throughout her life's journey, Beth Ann held onto these connections with solemn reverence.
As she embarked upon her educational path, she attended Lost Creek Grade School and South Harrison High School. She was fatefully led to Fairmont State University, where she emerged as a compassionate caretaker of numbers, graduating with a degree in accounting in 1995 with an unwavering commitment to integrity and the pursuit of excellence.
Beth Ann felt a profound calling to use her talents to serve children and the community, culminating in her role as the Operations Officer for Monongalia County Schools where she worked from 2011 to 2023. She focused her talents on attending to the needs of others, and she worked diligently to create an atmosphere in Monongalia County schools conducive to growth and learning. She excelled in fostering the values of harmony, compassion, and respect.
Guided by her profound faith, Beth delighted in the art of play, dedicating moments of respite to indulge in game nights, scrapbooking, and the boundless worlds that sprung to life within the pages of books. Within these simple acts of devotion, her spirit thrived.
Beth Ann reveled in her holiest and most sacred blessings, that of wife and mother. Her unconditional love became the guiding force for her beloved family. Beth Ann married Richard Harvey on November 15, 2002 she found solace and strength in their union. Her love shone upon her cherished daughter, Cearah Harvey, and beloved son, Isaiah Harvey, both at home, nurturing their spirits and molding their hearts with unmatched devotion.
Beth Ann found her sanctuary within the loving walls of Calvary Chapel Morgantown. There, nestled amidst fellow believers, she bowed her head in humble gratitude, offering heartfelt prayers for guidance, forgiveness, and a connection with her Lord and Savior.
On September 6, 2023, at the age of 46, Beth Ann Harvey braced her weary spirit as she crossed the threshold of eternity, leaving behind a tapestry of memories etched upon the hearts of her surviving family members and beloved friends.
