Bertha 'Birdie' Wolfe

Bertha "Birdie" Leah Wolfe, 82, of Morgantown, passed away September 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Mooresville, WV to the late Norman and Goldie (Varner) Brewer. "Birdie" enjoyed square dancing with her longtime partner Warren Taylor. She is survived by her two children Patricia and Eugene; Grandchildren, Michaela, Kevin, Heather, LeAnn, and Crystal; Great Grandchildren, Kaleb, Britny, Savanna, Sahara, Nathaniel, and Orien; and two brothers Jesse and Norman. "Birdie" is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbert Wolfe; long time square dancing partner Warren Taylor; brother Raymond and sister Pauline. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for all the loving care "Birdie" received. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 5006 Mid Atlantic Drive, Morgantown, WV 26508, in her memory. Family and friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday September 23 from 11am until 1pm.
