Benjamin 'Beno' Trentini, Jr.

Benjamin ‘Beno’ Trentini, Jr. 79, of Bruceton Mills, formerly of Morgantown, died Monday August 28, 2017 at the WVU Hospital, Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born April 7, 1938 in Morgantown son of the late Albino Benjamin Trentini and Albina Pernot Trentini.

Beno grew up in Jere, and later moved to the Cheat Lake area. Beno was a 1957 graduate of University High School and was a decorated running back and excelled on the basketball court as well. His love of sports made him a loyal fan of the Mountaineers and Steelers. Benjamin also served in the Army National Guard.

Beno worked as a carpet installer and general contractor for most of his life in and around the Morgantown area. He retired and made his home in Preston County with his eldest son Joe. Beno loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards and the occasional scratch off lotto ticket.

Beno is survived by his three sons; Joe Trentini and wife Romaine of Bruceton Mills, Rick Trentini and Tim Trentini and wife Jerica all of Cheat Lake; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Beno was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Tandela Trentini and one granddaughter, Brittnee Jo Trentini; three brothers, Geno Trentini, Jimmy Trentini and Aldo Trentini and one sister Lena Simmons.

Family will receive friends at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 11am until 1pm. Graveside services will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens with Pastor William Page officiating.
