Beatrice Mae Trickett, aged 91, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Stonerise Nursing Home in Beckley, WV. She was born on September 17, 1930 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Earl D. Trickett and Nellie Eddy Trickett. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert E. Trickett and wife Thelma of Westover, WV as well as her sister, Thelma Trickett Jarrell and husband Hollis of Roanoke, WV. Beatrice is survived by a sister, Doris Trickett Webb of Naoma, WV; three nieces, Carolyn Clevenger of Morgantown, Debbie (Larry) Webb of Arnett, and Valerie (Tim) Bonds of Rock Creek. She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Ms. Trickett was a 1948 graduate of Morgantown High School. After which, she worked several jobs before enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1953 until 1958. She later joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve at Rickenbacker Air Force Base. She continued to serve her country until she retired in September of 1990 as a Master Sergeant. She then moved to Roanoke, WV, where she was a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending most of her time bowling and traveling. Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 11 AM until the time of service at 12 PM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center at 1 Medical Center Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
