Barbara Ann Morris

Barbara Ann Morris, 79, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born May 30, 1935, in Morgantown, daughter to the late George Ross and Linnie Burns Clark. Barbara was a graduate of Morgantown High School and worked for the Mon County Board of Education as a custodian and retired after 20 years of service. Barbara was Methodist by faith and attended the Community United Methodist Church where she started a quilting group and remained active in the United Methodist Women's Group. Barbara is survived by her two sons, Donald James Morris and wife Janet, Richard Hoss' Morris with Cathie Boone; three daughters, Patty Ann Kinsley, Nancy Lynne Harvey and husband Jeffrey Scott and Becky Jane Casteel and husband Casey all of Morgantown; brother, James Ross Clark and wife Kye of Dover, DE; two sisters Thelma Pike of Englewood, OH and Maxine Emerson of Clarksburg, WV; grandchildren, Jeff Morris, Stephanie Morris, Wyatt Flanagan, Lewis Morris (Meagan), Abby Morris (Daniel) and Zeke Morris; great grandchildren, Quinten, Brevin, Chancery, Tyler, Matthew, Chloe, Alyzin, Emily and Kimberly. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell D. Brock' Morris in 1979; one grandson, Brandon Harvey; son-in-law John Kinsley and two brothers-in-law, Paul Pike and George Emerson. Friends may call at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm. Graveside services will be held 11am Friday at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Gary E. Helms officiating.
