Audrey Claire Morton

Audrey Claire Morton, 84 of Morgantown passed away Saturday July 10, 2010 at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born April 3, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Richard and Martha Burns Wise. Audrey was a member of the Spruce St. First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter Sandra Overbey and husband William of Morgantown; two sons Richard Morton and wife Deborah, and Timothy Morton all of Pittsburgh, PA; five granddaughters Lisa Ann George and William Haden of Basalt, CO, Heather Gail George of Hawaii, Megan Suzanne George and husband Russel Huether of Basalt, CO, Shannon Luciani and husband John of Harrisburg, PA, and Sarah Claire Morton of Los Angeles, CA; and one great granddaughter Ruby Haden of Basalt, CO. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Morton. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home 10 S. High St. Morgantown, WV 26501 Monday July 12, 2010 from 7-9pm and again on Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Rev. James Mohrman officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Audrey's memory to Morgantown Hospice P.O. Box 4222 Morgantown, WV 26504.
