Audrey Elizabeth Denjen

Audrey Elizabeth Denjen, 85, of Granville passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday August 18, 2013 with her son Rick by her side. She was born May 11, 1928 in Sydney, Australia a daughter to the late Stanley and Elizabeth Hulley Bentley. Audrey was proud of her Australian heritage and came to America in 1946. She was a member of the Granville United Methodist Church and Salvation Army Ladies Home League Volunteer for nearly 15 years. Audrey worked as a store clerk at Max's Family Store in Osage in the 1960 and then later spent time as a homemaker raising her family. She is survived by her sons Roy Denjen of Morgantown, Gary Denjen of Granville, Terrence Denjen of Australia and Richard Rick' Denjen and wife Luci of Granville; grandchildren, Randy Denjen and wife Rita, Kimberly Kersey and husband Scott, Roy Denjen, II RJ' and wife Tricia, James Denjen and wife Robin, Kristina Blanchard and husband John Paul and Stephanie Denjen; great grandchildren, James, Hope, Gina, Justin, Jordan, Jason, JP' John Paul, Hannah and Victoria. She was preceded in death by her husband Julius Denjen and one son Robert Denjen; daughters-in-law Janice and Shirley Denjen; brothers, Dennis, Terrence, Desmond, Frank and Roy Bentley and one sister Brenda. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday August 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Honoring Audrey's wishes cremation will follow. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made in memory of Audrey to the Salvation Army, 1224 University Ave Morgantown, WV 26505
