Arthur Robert Mccormick

Arthur Robert McCormick passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, at the age of 91, surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was born on November 12, 1932 in Mt. Union, WV, a son of the late Frank and Mary Mae McCormick.

Arthur was the last remaining of seven siblings and was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Lou Wolfe McCormick, in 2003  and his second wife, Lois C. Martin McCormick in 2007. He will be lovingly remembered by the family he leaves behind; daughter, Mariam Michniak; sons, Gary and Timothy McCormick; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Arthur served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955, stationed in Germany. After completing his time in active duty, Arthur returned to Morgantown where he took great joy in watching his family grow.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Graveside Service with Military Honors on Thursday February 15, 2024 at 1 PM at Mt. Union Cemetery in Morgantown.
