Anna Mae Lazzelle

Anna Mae Lazzelle, 70, of Morgantown, was reunited with her late husband, Charles Delano ‘Chuck’ Lazzelle, on Friday October 11, 2019. She was born March 18, 1949 in Spraggs, PA a daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Stiles.

Anna was first employed at Sterling Faucet Company, where she met her late husband. She later went on to work for Monongalia County Schools as a custodian at various schools until her retirement in 2006.

In her spare time, Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and her daily trips to Goodwill, with her daughter-in-law Chrissy, to look for knitting supplies. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and spending time at her second home at Big Bear Lake.

She is survived by her sons Gary Lazzelle and wife Chrissy of Morganton, Larry Lazzelle of York, PA; grandchildren Zachary ‘Zack’ Lazzelle, Gary ‘Bub’ Lazzelle, Jr., Jacob ‘Boog’ Lazzelle, Charles ‘Russ’ Lazzelle, Tyler Dalton, Jayden Buzzo; sisters Mary Copeland of Blacksville, Dottie Stiles of Spraggs, PA, and Betty Haught of Fairview, WV.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Raber.

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday October 15, 2019 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and again on Wednesday from 9am until the time of funeral services at 10am with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Anna will be laid to rest beside her husband at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Following the interment, the family would to extend an invitation to join them at Brookhaven Fire Department to continue to celebrate Anna’s life. The family asks that you consider bringing a covered dish of your favorite recipe, if you are planning to attend.
