Ann Pauline Pastoria, 93, of Pittsburgh, PA formerly of Dellslow, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2011 at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on October 1, 1917 in Pennsylvania a daughter to the late Martin and Anna Pabin Sperla. Ann worked for 25 years as a Postmaster in Dellslow. She loved her job with a true passion. She delighted her customers daily with homemade goodies. She and her husband also owned and operated a grocery store in Dellslow for over 40 years. She attended St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church and St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Postmasters annual conventions. She was a great cook and loved to read. Flower gardening was a true love. You could find her and Phil most Saturday nights at the Moose Lodge Dances with her party trays. She is survived by a son Phillip Pastoria and wife Caroline of Pittsburgh, PA; a daughter Rena Jackson and husband Richard of Selbyville, DE; three grandchildren Mark Pastoria and wife Jennifer, Valerie Mathason and husband Michael, and Erin Larew and husband Jared, and several great grandchildren and step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Pastoria, a son Gary Pastoria; great-grandson Tyler Pastoria; brothers John and Steve; and sisters Mary and Helen. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday September 30, 2011 from 3-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Rev. Fr. Fred Byrne officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John University Parish 1481 University Avenue Morgantown, WV 26505.
