Angela Alberta Comberiati, 89, of Morgantown passed away on Wednesday June 5, 2013 at her home. She was born November 9, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was raised by the late Angelo and Laura Matthews Fortini. She lived most of her life in Morgantown with her late husband Joseph R. Comberiati. Angela was a homemaker and had her own daycare for many years. She was a very artistic person in embroidery, needlepoint, crocheting and quilting. She was Catholic by faith. She is survived by two sons Joseph A. Comberiati and wife Marilyn of Weston, WV, Barry R. Comberiati and wife Cathrine of Morgantown; daughter Angela G. Warder and husband Douglas of Grafton, WV; seven grandchildren Elizabeth Comberiati-Sisler and husband Tommy, Barry Comberiati, Grant Comberiati, Walker Comberiati, Geoffrey Warder and wife Kimberly, Benjamin Warder and wife Jessica, and David Warder. Also surviving Angela are four great grandchildren Alyssa Sisler, Emily Sisler, John Comberiati and Esperanza Warder; and a sister Dorsey McTaggert. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Larry J. Comberiati and three sisters. Friends will be received at St. Mary Catholic Church Monday June 10, 2013 from 1pm until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm with Rev. Fr. John V. DiBacco as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Peace Garden Mausoleum.
