On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, alongside his children, Andrew Maurice Zeni died at the age of fifty-four in Fairmont, West Virginia. While our hearts are heavy, we are deeply grateful for the years we were blessed to share with him.
Known for his generosity, Andrew had a deep love for his family, trail riding, his puppy Sadie, and rooting for the Steelers and Mountaineers. He will always be remembered as a loving father, devoted son, loyal brother, and friend to all.
He was born on March 13, 1971. His parents were Ruth Ann Gresh and Donald Ray Zeni. Andrew grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he began working for his family’s drilling business at just 15, mastering every aspect of the trade, later pursuing his career as a project manager, where he embraced cutting-edge drilling techniques and continued to grow within the industry he deeply loved.
His greatest pride and brightest light were his children, Adrienne Michele Zeni, Andrew Michael “Drew” Zeni, and Mathew Edward Zeni; and while he carried the immeasurable loss of Drew, who preceded him in death, we find comfort in knowing they are reunited now, together again in peace.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on his birthday, Friday, March 13, at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 S. High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501, from 2–4 p.m. and again from 6–8 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 14, with visitation from 10–11 a.m. and the service beginning at 11 a.m. Funeral services will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
Though deeply missed, Andrew’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
