Allen Dwayne Perkins, Sr.

Allen Dwayne Perkins, 60, of Star City, passed away Friday August 13th at his home after a short illness. He was born and raised in Morgantown and is the son of the late Ronald Lee and Shirley Ann (Campbell) Perkins. He is survived by his son Allen Dwayne Perkins Jr. and companion Tanya Smith; a daughter Ashleigh Nicole Perkins of Oklahoma; and sisters Sherry (Perkins) Smith of Morgantown, and Shelia (Perkins) DeLauder and husband Patrick DeLauder of Terra Alta. Allen was a CDL truck driver and held other various jobs. He was kindhearted and loved his family and dogs. There will be a viewing on Wednesday 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home with a private grave side gathering at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Thursday.
