Alfreda Catherine Kussart

Alfreda Catherine Kussart, 70, of Morgantown passed away peacefully on Thursday December 8, 2022 at the Morgantown Health and Rehab. She was born August 7, 1952, in Morgantown the daughter of Ernest ‘Joe’ and Mildred Myers Walls.

Alfreda worked in at the Lakeview Resort for more than 30 years. She loved quilting, embroidery, crosswords, and was very crafty. Anyone who would visit knew to call her mom or grandma. When you entered her door, you became family.

She is survived by her daughter Marci Miller and husband Frank of Morgantown; a stepson Johnithan Kussart and wife Victoria of Joshua Tree, CA; three brothers, Michael Walls and wife Amy, Randy Walls and wife Chris and Ricky Walls and wife Patty all of Bruceton Mills; grandchildren Vanessa (Dustin) Hughes, Stevie Miller and fiancé Tiffany Stone, Sierra Kussart, Rachael Kussart, Tiffani Kussart, Johnithan Kussart, Jr., Marissa Kussart and Matthew Kussart and three great-grandchildren, Theo Anthony, Hailey Rae and Chloe Elizabeth. Also surviving is her good friend who was more like a sister, Molly Miller, who shared a home with Alfreda for many years. She will be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 4 to 6 PM. Honoring her wishes cremation will follow with private inurnment at a later date.
