Albert Castelli

Albert Albino Castell, 74, of Morgantown went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 10, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 2, 1939 in Morgantown, the son of the late Orlando and Sarah O'Brad Castelli. He was a retired mine foreman with CONSOL's Pursglove Mine #15. He was a member of the Christian Assembly of Star City. Albert made many friends while attending flea markets, yard sales, and even the grocery store. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Ellen Brown Castelli, Daughter Betty Jo Stiles and husband Barry, Daughter Felecia Maria Hicks and husband Ralph. Grandsons Colby Stiles and spouse Tiffany, Cody Hicks and spouse Kayla, Colton Stiles, and Albert Joseph Hicks. Granddaughters Britni Justine, Holly Hicks, Caitlin Hicks and great-grandson Wayne Carter Hicks. Brothers William Castelli and spouse Toni, Charles Castelli and spouse Sandy, Sisters Mary (Toots) Fumich and spouse Steve and Delores (Midge) Rowan and companion Eugene Cool. Albert is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his cats Stretch, Liz, and Suzy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister in law Lee and Ruth Castelli. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Dr. Gabrielle Horvath for her many years of care and compassion and to Amedisys Hospice Care. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday February 13, 2014 from 11am until the time of service at noon with Pastor Willard Rowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
