Adam Thompson, 49, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 12, 2019.
The son of the late Patricia Cottrell, he was born April 5, 1970, in Richmond, OH.
Adam was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed shooting guns. He enjoyed watching football and was a huge Steelers fan. Adam was known by many as Batman, and was always there when needed. Most of all Adam was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Adam is survived by his wife, Tina Thompson; his children, Amanda Buchanan, Jose Santiago, Anthony Santiago, and Ashley Pursel, and many other children who looked up to him as a father. Also surviving, a brother, Terry Thompson; and a sister, Carla Cottrell; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Claude Cottrell.
Honoring Adam’s wishes, cremation services were provided by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, all services will be private.
