Adam Lee Pruitt, a beloved son, uncle, and friend, tragically passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 27 following a brief and sudden illness. Born on September 13, 1998, in Morgantown, WV, Adam lived a life filled with joy and adventure, fueled by his love for the outdoors. He cherished hunting, camping, and all activities that allowed him to embrace nature.

Adam is survived by his father, Tracy Pruitt (Doris) of Tunnelton, and his mother, Meloney Pritt (Rob Shingleton) of Grafton. He was a devoted uncle to Christopher, Alexander, and Raven Pruitt, and a loving brother to his step-brothers, Kenneth and Felix Reckart of Tunnelton. He will be deeply missed by his maternal grandmother, Cindy Huffman of Kingwood, and countless friends and family members who cherished his warmth and enthusiasm for life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Dakota Pritt, step-sister Hope Shingleton, as well as his paternal grandparents, Fred and Sandra Pruitt, and maternal grandfather, Marshal Huffman.

Friends and family will gather on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, and again on Tuesday from 1 PM until the time of services at 2 PM, with Bishop Wheeler Estep officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hills Cemetery.
